King Buzzo: Precious Memories

King Buzzo from the Melvins talks about his first time touring.  Have been listening to these guys since high school: original ideas and an offbeat sense of humour shine through in their music.  Anyway, this video brings back memories of shows I've played in the past (especially the 4 people watching bit at the end).  Good times...

Sensation - Ocean of White

The fabulous Sensation all nite dance extravaganza came to Kintex in Seoul, and we were there with the pictures and the video.  And the hangovers the next morning as I type this.  The line ups were long, the drinks were too expensive, but overall the DJs were tight and the energy was definitely in the building.  I wish I could have gotten some video of some of the more ridiculous dancing (one dude was dressed as a cupid with full bow and arrow).

Mr. White builds it up...

Once in a while random things like this would happen...

Geddy Lee, best bass player ever!  I'm glad Geddy's hair allowed him to take this photo.

Why make a blog?

Why make a blog?  Is it simply a projection of one's ego?  An exercise in narcissism?  Nothing more?  Perhaps a desire to simply share one's experiences and foster social interactions in order to receive objective feedback?  A desire to be loved, reviled, remembered?  Maybe a time capsule to be looked upon by future generations?    Free online storage space?
I've decided my blog will be a showcase of disjointed posts, low megapixel pictures of my family, friends, and dog, and random videos.  It will also be used as a conduit for intensive introspection.  Peace out.
